Reports & Booklets

Over the last several years, Operation250 has worked with schools and communities in New England to integrate more effective online safety education and practice. While the organization does not have the opportunity of working with every school or community, they wish to share their experiences, lessons learned, and practices through originally developed resources.

Throughout this website, you can find more specific classroom resources. Here, we share two more resources that focus more specifically on the practice of delivering Operation250 and the research behind it.

The first report “Operation250: Prevention Through Education” is a report built with the support of grant funding from the Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships (opportunity number DHS-20-TTP-132-00-01). This report is a summary of Operation250’s educational method, the role this work plays in violent prevention, and some of the findings and best practices from the organization’s work over the previous number of years. This report was built for educators and school personnel.

The second report, “Adolescent Online Safety and Behavior Report”, is a more thorough background into the existing research that has informed the organization’s efforts, practice, and areas of focus. This is built for those interested in learning more about the research that exists in the violence prevention field.
